2017 TOUR DE AGUA
All three routes of the Tour de Agua will start and finish in downtown Dublin, near Old Doc’s Soda Shop, beginning at 8:00AM, with a briefly staggered start. Each course will remain on pavement, primarily utilizing scenic and lightly traveled country roads. Distance, more than anything, will determine the degree of difficulty, as each course consists of rolling hills, intermittent flats, and an occasional leg-burning climb. Safety will be given highest priority with traffic control, SAG vehicles, and rest stops at strategic points. The routes finish down one of Dublin’s quaint brick roads and then you can join the festivities of the Dublin Summer Celebration beside Dublin Bottling Works and Old Doc’s Soda Shop.
All proceeds benefit Kids Across Cultures and will be used to provide clean water for children and families around the world.
Early registration fee is $40 through 5/29. Pre-register by midnight 5/29/17 to guarantee a t-shirt.
From 5/30-6/10, the registration fee will be $45. Online registration will close at midnight 6/8.
REGULAR TICKETS: $40 / $45
Our classic experience! Your Regular Tour de Agua ticket includes breakfast burritos, bike ride, and Saturday music & activities. A BBQ sandwich lunch will be available for you & your guests to purchase, or you can purchase lunch at one of Dublin’s restaurants. Then stroll through the town to take in the sights and visit our five museums!
ENHANCED TICKETS: $75
Make a weekend of it! Your Enhanced Tour de Agua ticket includes the following, in addition to the Saturday music & activities: Friday Kickoff Party & chicken fajita dinner; breakfast burritos & bike ride; and BBQ sandwich lunch. OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Your guests will be able to purchase Friday dinner and Saturday lunch.

*Registration payment is non-refundable for any reason, other than cancellation of the event prior to the scheduled day of the event. Failure to participate in the event for any reason will not result in refund. Refunds will not occur should weather conditions or other “acts of nature” result in cancellation the day of the event.
Registration from now through 6/8 can be done through Online Registration. Pre-registrations received by 5/29/17 will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet pickup and on-site registration will be at Dublin Bottling Works on Friday, 6/9, 6:30-8:00pm and on Saturday morning from 6:30-7:45am.
Providing all riders with the safest possible environment is our priority. All riders will be required to wear a helmet and follow all biking and traffic laws. Riders have the same rights and duties as those operating motor vehicles. Please remember that this is not a closed course. Ride with caution.
After the Ride
Rest under the oak trees or walk down to Celebration Park beside Old Doc’s Soda Shop to be closer to the live music. Snacks, fruit, bottled water, sports drink, and all the Dublin Bottling Works Soda you can drink will be available for riders. Join the festivities of the Dublin Summer Celebration. Buy a BBQ brisket sandwich lunch near the finish line, or get lunch and fountain floats at Old Doc’s. Award ceremonies will be held after finishers come in. A guarded bike corral is provided.
The coveted Tour de Agua bottle cap awards and Dublin Bottling Works Soda will be given to the top three men and women finishers on the 34 & 64 mile courses. The top three finishers under 16 for the 9 mile course will also be given bottle cap awards.
- 1st Place: Commemorative Tour de Agua bottle cap plus one case of DBW soda
- 2nd Place: Commemorative Tour de Agua bottle cap plus one case of DBW soda
- 3rd Place: Commemorative Tour de Agua bottle cap plus two 6-packs of DBW soda
In addition, the top placing individual in each of the 34 and 64 mile courses will receive an on-site catered brisket lunch for eight.
